Studying in a foreign country has its challenges. In this presentation, Elva, a former international student from China, will share with you how to turn challenges to positive opportunity for self-growth, and instead of feeling stressed and isolated, how to thrive with peace, purpose and happiness as an international student.
Elva will share the importance of paying attention to our thoughts and feelings as the catalyst for change. We cannot change external challenges overnight, but we can change how we respond to these challenges, and how we perceive them. Often, when we shift our emotional responses, the challenges shift too. Elva will also share some practical and effective tools such as mindfulness and meditation to help you de-stress and maintain a more positive mental and emotional state.
